10 Ideas of How Stickers Can Help Your Business

by Jamie Xuereb

Over the years I have seen many successful and not so successful advertising campaigns using stickers. Here are 10 ways to fully utilize the power of stickers in your next marketing campaign to get the most out of stickers:

1. They can be used to gauge customers perceptions of your brand. By leaving them in a prominent place where your customers are, by counting how many are taken can be a great way to see how much interest there is in your brand.

2. They can save you time. By being an easy and quick way to brand products and deliveries, stickers are a useful tool of reinforcing your brand for orders that will be delivered.

3. For some reason, any one under the age of 8 loves stickers. So if they are in your target market why would you miss the opportunity to use this cost effective tool to market to them?

4. If you have a custom or unique message, then having a custom shaped sticker is perfect for your campaign.

5. They are meant to offer you great value for money. By giving a sticker to someone they will hopefully stick it somewhere were other people will see it giving you more value.

6. The appearance of your sticker can really affect your promotion. Having dark colours for a sticker does not work particularly on windows which look dark themselves. Try using lighter colours.

7. They are designed to be a point of contact. Give it to someone and ask them some questions. That is a great way to get some first hand research for your brand.

8. Stores need them. When a sale is on stickers are a must particularly for front windows. People know what they mean on a store front just by seeing the red background.

9. They can be used ‘on’ your staff. If they don’t have a uniform or tag, why not stick a sticker on them. They can be a part of your branding solution.

10. Put an incentive on your stickers for customers to do something. Do’t forget people tend to keep stickers more than other promotional materials. So instead of branding why not turn them into converting customers.
